So how do you guys feel about "Bangle's decision" to leave BMW? I knew it was only a matter of time, but I have to admit, the 7's and M3's are kinda pretty :nod:

I doubt he was fired. He literally gave the 7-series and M series new life. He helped re-shape the company with his departure from standard BMW car design practices. I bet he was offered $$$$$$$$$$$$$ elsewhere.

I actually read that he was offered a promotion within BMW which yields him powerless as far as design is concerned. Maybe this was BMW's way of nicely saying that he should step aside and let a less contraversial designer take lead.

Good opportunity for another car company to snatch him :)
