On mondays and thursdays i am at school from 8 am to 5 pm with only one break for lunch. Which i intend on bringing a real food meal. But i need some meal replacement bars for inbetween to eat every 3 to 4 hours. Any suggestions?

I am also looking into making my own but having some store ones on hand would definatly make my life easier when in a pinch for time and would help cheating

Been making my own, and they are quite good, and far more healthy than anything you will find in the stores.

That being said, I do keep some MetRX Protein Plus bars around, and I like them a lot, too... You can get them for like $22 a case.

I second the MetRx Bar, their Big 100 is pretty good as well. Also, Clif Builders Bars are good too. You may also consider Kashi Granola bars with a piece of fruit like an apple or banana. There was also a tread the other day on protein pudding:

My only issue with the Big100 is I remember them being really high in carbs...

They are pretty good though...

Ya, they are high carbs (51 I think) and high in calories...but as a meal replacement... they aren't bad.

Chef Jay's Tri-O-Plex (http://www.dpsnutrition.net/product_information.asp?number=CJ007&back=yes&dept=1430&last=1430) bars are awesome.

Bring a shake instead. Put the powder in the shaker bottle, fill with water in between classes.

I personally make my own, but in a pinch I love Sierra Bars (270 calories, mostly whey protein, tastes like cookie dough) and Clif Builder's Bars.
