I found a new sausage.....!

As those of you who keep up with the minutiae of JSF'rs lives, Whole Foods stopped carrying the sausage I loved that was organic, natural etc. See my infamous thread I miss my sausage! (http://forums.johnstonefitness.com/showthread.php?t=22107&highlight=sausage) and my follow-up Looking for substitute for breakfast sausage (http://forums.johnstonefitness.com/showthread.php?t=23856&highlight=sausage).

There were wonderful suggestions, including how to make my own... But I was not able to accomplish that with any ease...

But this past week I found in the meat chiller a sausage that Whole Foods sells and it tastes even better than the original sausage and it is pre-cooked which means I can eat it sooner.

It is Wellshire, totally natural, organic, etc, pre-cooked and delicious. It comes pre-packed with 4 sausages. I freeze 3 and eat the one. They only have 2 pork styles...Chorizo and Andouille.. but they are delicious.

Just thought people might like to know... :blank:

I am glad you like your new sausage.

Are they big, fat and hot, or are they like the little Vienna ones?

It is (a not so) subtle reference to this post in the thread: I miss my sausage! (http://forums.johnstonefitness.com/showpost.php?p=225542&postcount=2)

My bad…I feel like I lead a nice, innocent college professor down a path of innuendo and debauchery.

Next time I will leave that for dd. He is better at it than I am, anyway. :D

And here I am, a minute too late. I need not say what I thought my friend Justitia was referring to.

I wish we had a Whole Foods here. We've got nothing even like it here in this town. The only store I've seen try to stock anything organic is Fred Meyer, and Safeway only has a few items. Bah!
