Looking forward to it too but the advance talk has been very negative. Change of production staff... fighting... hopefully they overcome that.

I'm so excited about this movie. I've been waiting for it since X2's first day in theatre.

One thing I noticed from the preview is that they need to re-edit that scene where Jean Grey goes through the doors from the lab because the doors look very soft when they land on the other side. 12 inch thick steel doesnt just fly across a hall with that force to do no damage and just fall very loosely.

Maybe after she forces them off, she telekenticlly lowered them on the ground. I cant wait for it!!! Have any of you heard some of the rumors about the movie? if you havent ill post them if you want.

-Professor and Jean are suppose to have a huge telepathic fight
-Storm might either be depowered or killed, which is going to send wolverine into rage wore then the X2 one.
-Magneto is going to destory the Golden Gate Bridge
-Finally a danger room scene.
-The main focus is a "cure" for mutants

In connection to the comic books, Professor X does dissapear for a long while. He comes back but I dunno how they can have that all make sense to the general movie audiences.

Also, for a while, Storm DID lose her powers. She had a mohawk back then. I guess it was a punk phase... :tucool:

Im going to bring out my comic book geekness for all of you. Professor X did leave the Xmen books for about 70 or so issues. He was dying and went into space with the Shi'ar race. He returned home when the xmen saved him and the Shi'ar from another group of aliens.

In the new Xmen book, Asthonishing Xmen. written my Joss Whedon there was also a cure found for the mutants gene.

I love the xmen, anytime anyone need info on them im your guy :p

What X-Men/villans would you like to see or what rumors have you heard of for future X title movies?

I'm suprised that they haven't added Gambit to the mix yet! He was almost as popular as Wolverine at one point in time... I dunno who'd be ideal to cast for his character. And I NEVER woulda thought of Kelsey Grammer for Beast... :confused:

And are you serious? Kelsey Grammer? That is odd....smart at the same time though. He does have a voice that exudes inteligence, and that is what Beast was...extremely inteligent.

I think that's all they wanted. I figure they'd just CG the rest...
I don't think I woulda picked him for that role, but then again I also don't know who I woulda picked.

Sentinels would be cool! That'd call for plenty of action sequences and an opportunity to show all the X-Men using their powers individually and collaboratively. I'd imagine it would be like a LOTR: Return of the King type battle sequence but better! :tu:

The brood is a little tricky though. Too many critics would be calling it an Aliens rip-off.

Sinister would also be cool villan to add. Who would play him though? :confused:

Apocolypse would be a cool idea for X4... Since they're introducing Angel, I'd be cool to see him change to Archangel.

Say what?! Totally missed that one... Who's playing Psylocke? I thought Kelly Hu woulda been better cast as Psylocke than Lady Deathstrike.

Psylocke isn't listed.... So I guess she's due in X4 perhaps? There are a couple that don't have character names and X-Kid (whoever that is) is listed twice. I think they're random students...

I'm really disappointed that Bryan Singer left the project to run off and waste millions on Superman. Hopefully Brett Ratner doesn't screw things up too much.

As for Bryan Singer, maybe he thought of it as a challenge? It won't be easy doing as well for DC as he did for Marvel...
