This recipe has gotten rave reviews when I've served it to dinner guests. "It tastes like real salad dressing," said one of my friends.

Zesty Orange Poppyseed Dressing
1 T flour
1/4 C sugar
1/4 C white vinegar
1/4 C orange juice
1/2 C milk
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 1/2 tsp prepared mustard
3/4 tsp poppy seeds
1/4 tsp ground pepper
1/2 tsp salt

Stir together flour and sugar. Whisk in vinegar, orange juice, and milk until smooth. Add remaining ingredients. Cook and stir over medium high heat until it comes to a boil and thickens. Serve warm or store in a glass jar in the refrigerator.

This is best with a fresh spinach salad, but also good on a basic salad of lettuce, cucumber and tomato.

How many servings does this make?
I lent the book to a friend, so I'm not sure.

Looks like about one cup, 16 Tablespoons, so 8 servings.

Would there be any way for you to ask the friend? I would greatly appreciate it!
