I know a few of you have the f11 from Polar. What is the next best model b/c that one is a tad out of my range. They have like 50 different models and I just don't know what to look for other than the owncal/ownzone features etc. Something around 120ish but less than the f11.
Thanks

Polar F6 is the next step down, has OwnZone & OwnCal.
I have the F11 & can certainly recommend that. The F6 seems to have all of the main features besides Fitness Test, which I only rarely check, but is nice to have. The F11 looks good, at least for a HRM watch, and the F6 seems to look pretty much the same.
Since I often have to travel from the Eastern to Western timezone, my favorite feature is setting up the time to toggle between them just by holding down the bottom right button. They are probably other neat features like that that I haven't played with yet.

The thing you want a lot is the Ownindex feature, but that isn't on the lower priced models that I know of. If you find one with that feature in your range, then that is probably the monitor you want.
Because you are a woman, your VO2max might be closer to the average woman's. If that was true, then the F4 might make sense for you, and save you a good deal of money. But if you have a lot of endurance compared to most women, then it might not give you accurate calories.
The A5 should be in your range and that has a good feature set. The "fitness" (VO2max) test on that one is based on a walking test, as opposed to the resting heart rate on the F11.
