View Full Version : Has anyone heard about "Cutter T3X" from PVL?
JamesC Sun, March 14th, 2004, 01:03 AM I received a free sample of PVL Cutter T3X when I bought my Whey Gourmet today. Has anyone heard anything about it? From all the hype on the bottle and the little pamplet that came with it, it sounds pretty good, but before I start putting it in my boby, I'd rather have an opinion that's not from the company trying to sell it to me.
I looked around the net, and I didn't find very much. A few sites selling it. Maybe I just missed the sites for reviews/comments.
Thanks for any info.
James
ThatOldGuy Sun, March 14th, 2004, 09:25 AM I've never heard of it and couldn't find it after doing a search at bodybuilding.com. That's the biggest problem I have with suppliments. All you can find is the marketing hype. If you believe that, everything is a miracle suppliment.
If it worked well, I'd think somebody at bodybuilding.com would have at least talked about it.
JamesC Sun, March 14th, 2004, 12:39 PM Ya, you would think if is was a good as they say, people would be raving about it. However, I am starting to think that this might be a Canadian product, and not widely available.
Anyway, if people are interested in the main ingredients here they are.
Guarana Seed Extract (caffine)
Octopamine HCL beta-3 BLEND
ALPHA LIPOC ACID r-ISOMER
DIIODO-L-TYROSINE-NS
T3X BLEND (long list of things)
Are there any good medical research sites where I can look these things up in? From what I've found on supplement sites, it sounds safe.
Thanks.
James

zamboni Mon, March 15th, 2004, 02:30 PM Sounds like every other thermogenic.
JamesC Mon, March 15th, 2004, 06:14 PM Are they any good? Or just a waste of time and money? I'm starting to assume it's more hype then fact.
Is there somewhere on the net where I can read up on thermogenics?
Thanks,

zamboni Mon, March 15th, 2004, 08:10 PM As someone who's sold hundreds of bottles of this stuff, I would say, go without it. Even when I tell people they're better off without the stuff, they always buy it anyways. There is no magic pill. Relying on any supplement instead of good nutrition and workout habits isn't going to get you anywhere in the long term.
That being said, I do use them on occassion :p. When I use them, I just do it to kick start my workout or if I'm having a slow day, and in that respect, I don't take them for weight loss, just energy.
JamesC Mon, March 15th, 2004, 09:25 PM Well, I think I've decided I'm going to just toss this sample bottle. For anyone else reading I found this interesting article about fat-burners.

Thanks for the advice zamboni. If these things only really help with energy, I don't know any help there. Also, since I'm more or less still "just starting", I think a good diet and exercise/weight training, will yield good enough results. It sounds like, if you use these for weight lose, they can really mess up your system, even if only temporary. I don't need that.
Again, thanks for you advice zamboni.
