Hi all!
Great idea, this forum!
Here's my dilemma: i've been working out 4 times/week for the past 2,5 years, goal is to lose some fat and gain some muscle, i suppose like most of us here. I've been steadily getting good results, but feel like i've hit that limit, where i simply don't gain anymore and there's still that last bit of annoying fat around the stomach. And i know that the limiting factor is nutrition, i'm pretty confident my workout regime is good - a good mix of weights and cardio. Here's why my nutrition is not optimal: i don't have access to a kitchen, at home nor at work (where i usually eat dinner). Also, my work is usually so busy and chaotic that it's pretty difficult for me to spread out my meals over 5-6 times per day. Right now it's like this:
Bfast:
35 gr Whey Proteine in 25cl skimmed milk
1 banana
1 egg
60 gr pure Muesli (none of that honey coated sugar frosted crap)
glass fresh OJ
Lunch:
5-6 slices wholewheat bread with thin slices chicken filet or other low fat/high proteine stuff
Dinner:
Same as lunch or microwave pasta, usually with chicken or tuna. These are, needless to say, complete meals.
In between i eat green apples, mueslibread (might be typically Dutch, i have never seen it anywhere else) and drink lots of water. Sometimes black coffee in the late afternoon, never sodas, no alcohol. I'm also on a regular creatine cycle.
In a nutshell, the motivation is there, but time and facilities lack. What i need is "immediate access nutrition". Food i can just grab without having to prepare it in a kitchen.
I need some help with this!
Advise is most welcome! :gl:
