found a great little gym tucked away in the local city pool. It's never and I mean never used (at least during the week). I've been there at 6 am and 5:30 pm....at 6 am is just the cardio folk and no one's doing weights and at night there was maybe one or 2 guys tops. No wait, no fuss no muss. :tucool:
It's missing a power cage....so I have to improvise a little with the angled rack they have there....so much for going to failure on the bench ditto on the squat (maybe, not sure yet). It's similar to this minus the saftey's:

Just started doing suspended squats in the half rack....which really sucks....but it a good sucks :D (trying to improve my performance in the hole by bringing up my glutes and hams). Harder to do when you can't rely on pins to catch you.
PLus some equipment I don't have...like roman chairs, leg press....the rest fits my routine pretty well.
All in all this solves my what to do in -40C weather (since my home gym is in the garage).
:tu:
I think the price isn't bad for 3 months unlimited pass....$94 canuck dollars.
My guess why it's so unused....it's not as flashy as the Y up the street or the hard core gyms in the area....hey, so long as it has free weights and I have pretty much no wait for anything....I'm not gonna complain!
good deal all around....nice find.
