I started HIIT last week and LOVE IT! It cuts my time so much that I'm able to do it in the morning before work, instead of before bed... I understand in the morning, fasted, is best. I'm doing...

1 min. at 60% MHR
2nd min. at 70% MHR
3rd min. at 80% MHR, then repeat until 22 min.

That sounds good. I'm cutting and working on maintaining muscle.
Use to do LISS 40 minutes 5 x wk but started doing combo LISS & HIIT last week: 15 min LISS to warm up, 15 minutes of HIIT. (started this approx 7 days ago) and got a result of loss 1.5 lbs.

I'm planning on doing combo LISSHIIT 4 x wk for a couple more weeks, along with usual lifting 4 day split. Will check in again, hoping for consistent results. I'm eating more now than when I did LISS. Hungry all the time and chowing down , upping the calories a couple 100 on cardio days.
