Lost

im just looking for some input.

long story short.. ive gone from 255 lbs to where i am now, about 203 lbs, and im 5'10". id have an even larger loss, but theres a month or two there where things were... "weak". but when things were good, i was eating clean, about 1800-2400 cals a day. it was pretty effective.

regardless, it seems some imply to me now that being 16, i have a huge advantage age wise. they say basically if i eat reasonably clean and lift, id progress nicely and would get away with more than someone older.

im certainly not looking for excuses. i have no problem eating 100% clean, and working hard. im simply curious if there would be real truth to that. i still have a fair bit to go fat loss wise i believe, so i wouldnt want to slow that down a great deal by doing things the wrong way.

i guess what im getting down to is, should i stick to a typical 1800-2400 cals a day, or should i do things really differently? i figure ill end up experimenting, but input from some of you is always cool.

** side question: by being able to compare regularly lifting for awhile (months), to stopping for awhile (weeks/months), to beginning again.. i notice when im regularly lifting, my appetite is A LOT larger. would that be my metabolism speeding up due to regularly lifting?

sorry for the long winded post.. i hope someone gets through it
