How often can you take fish oil. More specifically, how much is safe to take daily? The bottle(ATW brand) says up to 3 times daily. It's like 1g of fish oil though, so 3g daily is enough? Or can you take it to fulfil some of your daily fat needs?

I have 6 g. a day. Honestly, I don't think there should be an issue with fish oil as long as it fits your cals/macros. Another story is cod liver oil, because vitamins A and D are not hydrosoluble, but fat soluble, and an excess cannot be easily expeled out of your system. Excess of those vitamins can lead to heart or kidney failure.
That's as far as I know. Basically, fish oil is OK. Do not worry about it and have more if you think you need it.

Here's another question: does fish oil lower blood pressure? I had to work my ass off on the elliptical today to keep at or a little bit above my target heartrate. It was on the same resistance setting as always. Do you think it's just a coincidence?

When I was taking fish oil caps in conjunction with flaxseed oil, I noticed that my cholesterol and blood pressure dropped some points. I didn't change my diet or my exercise routine either. So I dunno, could be a coincidence but also a possibility.
