Any kiteboarders out there? I'm thinking of taking it up, any suggestions or advice?

It is the most difficult thing I have ever attempted. I snowboard, surf, windsurf, golf, play ice hockey, etc. kiteboarding was by far the most challanging to learn. Plan on spending a lot of time on land practicing with the kite. You live in the Carribean? This should be a perfect sport for you! Oh, one more tip. Unless you have extra money lying around buy used for your first rig and make sure it is a beginner set up. After awhile you'll want to get a better one.
