View Full Version : big & skinny bodies?
BoxedMigration Tue, November 15th, 2005, 09:25 PM lately I've been falling off the wagon feeling that I'll always be naturally big and that base is something I can't change... Does anyone have any pictures of people of my size, big head and features, but skinny and in shape? It seems I never see people like me, they're always either big as in fat, or big as in muscular
Sweet_16 Tue, November 15th, 2005, 10:07 PM Can you provide us with your measurements or a picture of you? Otherwise we won't know what exactly you're looking for.
guava Tue, November 15th, 2005, 10:46 PM "Skinny" is not something that most of the members here aspire to. Muscle tone is a good thing. Nothing wrong with being naturally big. I'm not sure why you're upset.
xingcat Tue, November 15th, 2005, 11:12 PM Do you mean just big-featured? Someone who's slim and in-shape, yet looks "big boned" is Jerry O'Connel (from Crossing Jordan).
I'm not sure if this is what you're talking about, but here's a pic:

matthewd Wed, November 16th, 2005, 12:59 AM I think what he's saying is that he's naturally "big", therefore he can never look "skinny", no matter how fit he is.
That's how I understood it.
I think what he means is that he's merely very big boned. Obviously, if you're very big boned, you can't possibly have a skinny Brad Pitt or Toby McGuire look, definitely not. There are limits to were you can go, you can't possibly shrink your bones.
bradh Wed, November 16th, 2005, 01:00 AM I have a big head and i'm pretty fit, not so slim has the guy above and quite frankly i don't want to be. He's a picket.
JoeSchmo Wed, November 16th, 2005, 01:16 AM The Klitchko brothers. Tall and big boned, and also in excellent shape. (BTW, Vitali is a wuss for retiring :) )

No. Some people naturally have a bigger bone structure than others.

I donno for some reason I have a problem with being bigger, I definitely feel more like a Woody Allen-type on the inside, so looking in the mirror it's strange to be this big monster and it doesn't seem right.
It's a shallow question but how do women feel about the bigger types? Do similar bodies attract?

Ganging up on me huh?
guava Fri, November 18th, 2005, 06:42 PM It's shallow so far as "women" can't really be generalized as such.
If I had to guess, I would think that people are more likely to be attracted to people that look to be in similar condition as themselves; overweight people attracted to overweight, underweight to underweight, and fit people attracted to fit people.
Of course, women say that looks are not the first thing that attracts them to a person. However, it does turn up further down the list.

When I was big (fat), I got some ladies. They said I was like a big teddy bear :o. I guess it depends on the lady, and if they like the teddy bear type. I hope ladies like the big (not fat) me too .
Also, I don't know why you want to be skinny, from my experience, the skinny guys generally envy us big guys, you have a head start for building a more impressive physique.

That's "big bodied" not "big boned".
A-Pac Sat, November 19th, 2005, 10:08 AM so looking in the mirror it's strange to be this big monster and it doesn't seem right.
You gotta get some more self esteem man! So perhpas you are big...but that does not make you a monster, or even look like one!
You mentioned Woody Allen...are you a funny guy? I know a sence of humor can go a long way! Many women are most atracted to a guys who is funny and can make them laugh.
Right now you have to focus on your strengths...not mull over your weaknesses. And know if you really want to get into better shape that you are at the right place. A lot of determination, and some time will get you there!
#91 Sat, November 19th, 2005, 07:34 PM That's "big bodied" not "big boned".
ahh that does make sense, didn't put much thought into that
i always have cartman's "i'm not fat!! i'm big boned!!" in mind LMFAO :D
Gohanssj Sun, November 20th, 2005, 10:54 PM I dont think I have a big boned structure, but my waist and hips are naturally a bit wider than most guys I know I think, unless its just cause of the lovehandles that I still need to kill
