View Full Version : Did it get better for you?
rsilvestri Tue, November 15th, 2005, 02:42 PM Up until a couple of years ago watching my weight was, well, not something I had to worry about. I have only been eating clean consistently for about 4 months now. Something I've started noticing is that I'm starting to enjoy clean meals more and more lately.
I'm guessing this is pretty common.
Did you guys experience the same thing?
Hort Tue, November 15th, 2005, 04:58 PM Absolutely... you clean the crap out of your system and after a while fried foods and Twinkies lose there appeal. Beware though... one small taste of the drk side and it's easy to go back. :tu:
oarnura Tue, November 15th, 2005, 05:04 PM My wife and I have been eating clean for months now, we can't stand some of the food we used to eat and enjoy before.
Fat seems to coat my throat and almost choke me. I also don't crave stuff I used to. I haven't craved pizza, chinese and other foods for a while. Can't stand white rice anywhere.

You speak the truth.
bradh Tue, November 15th, 2005, 05:45 PM Well i guess i'm different. I still enjoy some KFC or a Big Mac once a month.
I'm bad. :D
sc7389 Tue, November 15th, 2005, 05:48 PM I guess it couldn't hurt when you're bulking, but when you're cutting I don't think it's a great idea. ;]
bradh Tue, November 15th, 2005, 06:51 PM I really haven't tried a serious cut yet. I'm just training hard and learning about proper eating habits. Slowly learning how to prepare decent & clean meals.
Probably start one mid-winter. I have lost over 20pounds thou since i started training and i certainty look more muscular so i gain muscle also.
Bluestreak Tue, November 15th, 2005, 07:04 PM I think most people who approach this journey with a healthy attitude all eventually come to the same conclusion. That is? That unhealthy foods and habits only hurt. They're enjoyable once in a while, but not every day. I've come to believe that the saying nothing tastes as good as being fit feels is true.

I don't see this happening to me, ever. However, I do see that eating whatever you want, whenever you want would eventually lead me where I don't want to go. That said, I know I can now control what I eat and when I eat it.
