Hi,

Does anyone know how safe superdrol is?

Does anyone have first hand experience with it?

Except for whey I have no experience with any supplements. I don't want to waste my money and more importantly take something that is unsafe.

Thank you...

More side effects than steroids. Ya it will work.

...just did some more research and I'm not even sure it's legal anymore. For that reason, as well as all the side effects "real" people have reported I've deceided, once again, that I'll just stick to good food and hard workouts.

It's still available.

I would NOT recommend that you take it. Just by you asking questions, I can safely say you shouldn't take it. I mean no offense by this - basically I mean that only a VERY experienced trainee and supplement user should even consider this, someone who has at least 5-6 years of training under his belt, someone over 21 years old, and someone who has done at least 3+ months of research on the product, on-cycle support supplementation, and post-cycle therapy (and even then, I don't think it's a good product personally).

Stick with protein and creatine. :tucool:

i guess the stuff will shut down your body's natural production of testostrone, so then after you're done using it, you have to get your body back under control with testosterone boosters and liver support.

Side effects:

Liver Stress
Back Pumps
Loss of Libido
Legarthy
Reduced good cholestrol levels and raised bad cholestrol levels
Raised Blood Pressure.

Well, sort of like that, but basically you've got it right. Although "testosterone boosters" is a loose term. I wouldn't tell the guy to make sure to pick up nothing but a bottle of tribulus for PCT. ;)

Right. And more than that I'd assume, especially for those who are stupid about it (which, unfortunately, includes a lot of people).

Seems like a royal pain to me. Take one product, then take 10 more to combat side effects. Let's see, off the top of my head, I'm guessing here...

Liver Stress - Milk Thistle / NAC / Pro Liver?
Back Pumps - Potassium
Loss of Libido - Viagra :)
Legarthy - Coffee :)
Reduced good cholestrol levels and raised bad cholestrol levels - Polycostanol / Red Yeast Rice with COQ10
Raised Blood Pressure - Hawthorne Berry / Celery Extract

(I did research the crap out of this product and OCT/PCT a long time ago, and just felt it wasn't a good idea, plus it would be expensive and a pain in the butt.)

Wrong. There have been no conclusive studies done on the negative side effects of Superdrol. It has been shown to lower good cholesterol and raise bad cholesterol along with an increase in BP in SOME cases. These side effects are common with most anabolics. The makers of Superdrol (Designer Supplements I believe) recommend using a liver protector such as Milk Thistle and Red Yeast Rice with CoQ10 to combat the choleserol problem. Also recommended is a PCT supplement (test enhancer) to help bring natural test levels back to normal after the cycle.
I do NOT recommend anyone use this product (especially if you don't know what you're doing) but to say it has MORE side effects than steroids is incorrect.

Actually I would say it potentially has more side effects than "real steroids" (many consider SD a real steroid actually; I don't know enough to make that claim though). It depends on too many factors.

ANY supplement has the "potential" to wreak havoc if abused. I don't know enough about it to argue the pros and cons however I HAVE researched it quite a bit. I'd be lying if I said I didn't seriously consider using it in the past.
At my age testosterone levels are almost ALWAYS low. Hormone replacement therapy has become commonplace amongst middle aged men.
I thought this may be an inexpensive solution to the problem. For now, I have decide to go with what i've got, however it remains an option for the future.

Hey Chris, I was wondering how long this would take to hit this forum. I'm surprised it took so long.

Guys,

Thanks for all the info. While it is interesting to read about this stuff I don't like all the risks involved. Thanks for the warning... :nono:

Agreed. I just don't think you can say "it's safer than steroids." I honestly don't know, but I do believe some "designer steroids" can be just as harmful, if not more harmful than steroids. Note that we're also talking about an oral (pill) here, and not an injection, which throws a whole different spin on things.

I honestly don't know. Many of the posts I read from some of the experienced guys said they felt it was more harmful. But I just don't know (and since I'm not planning on using it I just stopped researching it a while back - so there may be more information out there I am unaware of).

Obviously I was considering it as well, I did a TON of research and it just didn't seem like a good product to me. It sounds unsafe, it sounds like a pain in the butt, and I really don't care for Designer Supplements either (though Anabolic XTreme was the one selling it at the time I was researching it).

I would think HRT would be 100 times safer, not to mention more productive, for you. Having a doctor who's got your back would give much more peace of mind too. :) Find a GOOD, legit doctor, go get your bloodwork done, and have him/her help you out if need be.

I'm not too surprised. JSF is a much different environment than other forums, we're not so "hardcore" I guess. I believe that aspect of this site is a good one though. Sometimes you have to go to other sites to research some supplements or training protocols, but the overall atmosphere here is much more friendly imho.

I agree with EVERYTHING you've said. As I stated earlier, i'm not ready for any supplementation quite yet BUT if there comes a time that I feel HRT would benefit me (in other aspects of life) who knows. I would most likely seek the help of an MD.
I too enjoy the JSF "mindset". I sometimes browse other forums for the hell of it but don't post . This place is much friendlier than any i've seen and that's a good thing!!!!
