On lifting days, I usually lift then do cardio immediately afterward for 30-40 minutes. Should I eat my quick absorbing meal (1 scoop whey, 1 huge banana) right after my lifting before my cardio, or should I wait until after my cardio. My goal is to cut, while retaining as much muscle as I possibly can.

I'd recommend that you don't eat that meal in between your weight training and cardio, because then your cardio will be used to burn up all that food that you just ate and you might also feel nauseous during your cardio. Eat the banana and whey after your cardio. I'm in the same boat as you - I eat a huge carb + protein meal before my weights, then after my workout I immediately do 30 min of cardio and then I drink my protein shake and have my carbs (i.e. yogurt, cereal, etc.).

PWO meal after the entire workout. Lifting and cardio or just lifting.

I usually lift for about 1 1/2 to 2 hours, then do my cardio. As for the banana, I don't have any dextrose (which I would like to be taking PWO), so I get the quick absorbing carbs I need from fruit.
