hey guys
I am looking for some advice/opinions about supplements during fat loss...I have never used supplements but lately I have hit a semi-plateau.

I do occasionally use whey protein (GNC) but other than that, nothing. Is anyone else out there on a cutting diet and NOT using any supplements? If you do use them, what? I am a female and have asthma, so I stay away from anything that would affect my heartrate, etc...but I am totally open to suggestions!!

thanks!

The only thing i would take to help cut will increase your heart rate considerably.

EC stack

Thanks anyway! How are the results from EC Stack? Can you contribute it to the supplement?

I'm not sure but isn't ephedra used to treat asthma?

No, or at least, not in my case. I currently use a variety of inhalers (prescription) and they tend to increase my heartrate already...so, adding ephedra or that type of supplement would probably not be the best idea....I did remember that a while back I use to take Metabolife until I had a serious dizzy spell one day...what the hell was I thinking? And I have taken steroids for asthma as well...talk about an appetite! that was the worst....okay, now I am rambling...

Honestly, the best advise I could give you is to eat clean and watch your calories. And of course, train.:tu:

Thanks again. That is what I have been doing and what I will continue to do...shooting for approx 1600 calories per day right now. I am 5'8 and 137 pounds so hopefully I will see it come off...I am going to increase my lifting from 3 to 4 days and keep the cardio 7 days/wk.

I agree with DD, continue to eat well and train and probably research how people kick there plateaus. Alot of people like to carb/calorie cycle.

That meaning you consume more calories and carbs the days you train and less on rest days.
