I have this injury that hasppens at times. Like, just a few minutes ago, I aparrently had the bench incline too much doing incline benchpress and my shoulder blade gets hurt. Like when I look to my right, it hurts. I usually don't hurt it doing this exercise though...can someone offer some thoughts please?:(

I guess it's my left trap...

Sounds very similar to an injury I sustained when I landed on my head doing a backflip about 6 years ago.

In the back of my right trap, I experienced excruciating pain anytime I looked to the right. The original pain went away in about 2 weeks, but since it happened, it has come back a lot during weight lifting, most often during seated cable rows. That is why I refuse to ever do them again.

All I could do was ice/heat and rest.

Yeah, it sounds like you may have something similar, just on the other side.

I think for me, it is a pinched nerve that has never fully healed. I have another one on my wrist that in 10 years still hurts if you hit it in the right spot.

I would just be careful and if you see a particular exercise bothers it, don't do that exercise anymore.

The injury is always the same. I just woke up stiff as hell. Does anyone know how to avoid injuring this weak spot I have. It doesn't happen often but it last happened last month when I apparently put too much weight on durring squats. Up until then, this hasn't occurred for atleast 6 months or longer...Mick
