What's the general perception of smoked fish? I tend to buy a lot of smoked fish (i.e. smoked white fish, smoked salmon chunks, etc.). Obviously smoked fish has a ton of sodium, but if you counter that with enough water, it should be a good protein-filled, healthy meal, right?

Can you counter sodium with water? I don't know. I always thought that sodium is something that MAKES you retain water. I don't know about flushing it out with water.

I love smoked fish. I don't worry about the salt. I think it can be flushed out with water..It doesn't seem to affect me much..I say go for it!!
