smalltex Sun, November 6th, 2005, 07:54 PM I'm not good at estimating body fat percentages and in your case would simply say--no matter what they are you have made unbelievable progress and look great. I've been debating doing this SGX program myself and it's hard to argue with the progress you've made following it. :tucool:

Justitia Sun, November 6th, 2005, 10:37 PM You look totally amazing. What is so wonderful is that your posture is better (it looks great now) and the muscles have taken on a very pleasing and wonderful symmetry about them. Your body has increased aesthetically quite fantastically....
Congrats, and it ahows great things with SGX and determination.
1FastGTX Sun, November 6th, 2005, 10:58 PM After seeing those before pics of you, this is even a more amazing transformation! :d_eek: :tucool:

Thanks, Justitia,, my body has responded way better than i ever expected with the SGX program, it was kinda hard to trust it but i followed the plan and focused really hard on the form in my workouts and it is paying off big time. I can't wait to start SUP:drool:

henderjr Mon, November 7th, 2005, 10:27 AM Wow amazing!! You're a SGX poster child. :tucool:
Glaive Mon, November 7th, 2005, 02:24 PM My goal is to get to 8% body fat by Fall of next year. If by mid to late summer I'm not most of the way there I'm planning to bite the bullet and talk to SwoleCat about SGX. I've just seen too many great success stories like yours.
I also think it's awesome that you were able to do this at your age. Not that 48 is "old" and makes you gimpy or anything, but in my experience most people over 40 have an "old mentality" and tell themselves that their potential isn't what it was when they were young. My dad is in horrible shape. He had a heart attack 10 years ago, was ordered to get in shape and lose weight, but all he does is sit around and make excuses. He says tons of things like "when you get older your metabolism slows down, you can't lose weight like you're doing." Bullshit.
You deserve mad props not just for your success, but for defying the odds and the stereotype and having the drive and willpower to take responsibility for your own health and happiness.:claplow:
HarryMonkBubble Mon, November 7th, 2005, 04:04 PM 48 year old,
I've just turned 37, and I'm stunned by your results.
Looking at your before pics, I can draw comparisons with my own position. I sincerely hope I get get halfway to where you are now.
You've really set the bar.
Well played.
:tucool:
jsbrook Mon, November 7th, 2005, 04:59 PM Lean and awesome, bro! Any future goals?
CASD Mon, November 7th, 2005, 05:43 PM Well I'm 48...about the same other then your taller...And you've motavated me to contact Swole.. Thanks!!!
PRS Guy Mon, November 7th, 2005, 06:06 PM Count me in as well. I'm really impressed with your results.
The most impressive thing I see is...
Pic #1 on the front view you are trying to flex pretty hard but hiding it a little
Pic #2 you are still working at it, not as much though
Pic #3 you pretty much are just standing there with a, "yeah I'm loving it, no flexing needed" look on your face.
:claplow:
SteveO Mon, November 7th, 2005, 09:15 PM Awesome man!! What else can I say??

Glaive thank you, actually i turned 49 in September, I have to be honest, I almost fell into the "old mentality" myself, when i started I joked with my kids that I was going to get cut and buff, they laughed and I did not really believe I would be able to do it. As time went by I and I saw results and came close to the goals I set, i just reset them. A little bit at time the belief came that I can get to 6%. I will be there or real close in 30 days. Hey you never know about your dad, something may inspire him!!!
Anyway thanks for the nice response :claplow: :claphigh:

But of luck! You should definitely be able to put on the muscle and lean back out again if you approach it with the same dedication you must already have shown.

~SC~ I have been following John's comments and if he is this fired up over the SUP program it has got to be awsome. Would like to start today, but I know I need to finish with my goal of 6% and go for the delayed gratification of stickin with SGX unitl I reach it. Thanks again for all the help.
