I understand that we can point to a separate post on it's own page, but how do you point to a specific spot within a thread?

Like, if I wanted to reference the 7th post within a thread, but I still wanted the original posts to remain above and below the post in question.

where "x" = post #.

Where do you find the post number? That post says #1501

Is there a thread# too?

Is there a thread# too?Hover your mouse over the post # and look down at the info bar at the bottom of your browser (or right click and choose properites in IE). Your looking for the part that reads "p=". The number following that is the unique post number that you'll plug into "x".
