Today I ran my First Half Marthon at Alpharetta, GA with a timing of 2 hrs and 8 minutes. @9.75 per mile. Did not find it difficult to run. I have Shin pain but manageable. My son finished at 2 hrs and 5 minutes

Thanks everone in this forum for the tips

Sweet! I have my first marathon this december.

What are you going to do next? What was your longest run in training before the half?
