big hello to you all, was pointed to this forum by a friend.
my name is graeme and hopefully i will be around a good while and maybe get to know some of you. about 12 months ago i weighed in at 190pounds/13 and half stone, as i sit typing here i weigh around abouts 147 pounds/10 and half stone. i have lost the majority of this weight since january when i decided to get a bit more serious with my training, diet regime. i gave up pretty much all the crap foods and stopped eating at silly times of night. as for training i just completely upped what i was doing. i now run at least 5km's every day, also do a lot of spinning sessions, and a number of other cardio programmes. i am to be found pretty much every night in the gym...lol. i do weights (lights weights/lots reps). something i am hoping to gain from this site is to gain a better 6 pack, for some reason my stomach seems to still be slightly flabby (maybe thats just me)
all help is appreciated
thanks

I think the best way for everyone to be able to help you is for you to post what you eat and when you eat it and other stuff about your routine. Also your age would be helpfull.

Also for your abs to show you will have to reduce your body fat to a certain level more ab excercises won't do it alone.

What is your height?

In my opinion, abs are 90% diet, so if you stay consistantly clean, you'll get there eventually

Hi and welcome to the forum!

First and foremost, when weight training you should do high weight and lower reps. There are several work out plans around the newbie forum that state the amount of reps/sets you should do. My suggestion is to pick your weight so that the last reps would be a strain. Upper that weight after you notice it's easier for you to lift. The time it should take you varies, the more weight you lift the more time it takes to get to the next level.

As said before, a 6pack can only be achieved when you hit a certain BF% level. For men it's 10-9 BF%.

Please post your diet and your precise work out regime. If you eat too much or too little you might not have progress. If you overtrain you'll achieve the same effect.
