Hi there,
as some of you may have read in my previous post I've been having some troubles with my supplement-free post-workout nutrition.
Thing is I've been able to get my hands on a protein powder, but now I'm not sure that's what I needed. I bought a powder which is NOT whey protein, but rather a 90% concentrate of "milky protein" ( ) with some minerals, vitamins and BCAAs added.
What worries me is the fact that this protein might be too slow-digesting to work as a post-workout shake. Could it be casein protein? The manufacturer doesn't state clearly where does it come from. Here's the English web site of the product: http://www.megaplus.es/prod/ami/ami-e.htm
I had to drive 15 miles and pay $35 to get 2lbs of this, so I hope that some of you will reply to this message saying that I've nothing to worry about :o :D
Thanks a lot!
