I've decided to ditch my current routine and go with Max-OT. However; after reading the first portion of the Max-OT PDF, I'm not sure if I should dive right in or take a week long break from exercising first. Which would you guys recommend?

Is there a reason for thinking you need to take a week off?

Yeah. It mentioned that there should be 5-7 days between exercising the same muscle group and I last did my legs today. I could start it in reverse, but I figured it would be easier to start the way that it's outlined in the PDF and do leg exercises on a monday.

Then you could just skip the leg workout this week and start with Tuesday.

Alright. That'll work.

I always like to take a week off prior to making significant changes to my weight training regimen. This allows your body a chance to recover. This also keeps your body guessing a bit more than it does if you just switch your regimen from one week to the next.
Not that there is a problem with switching a workout regimen without a week off; just something I've noticed and come to prefer.
