I just broke the 200 mile mark on my elliptical trainer. It's at 204.1 miles now. Not too bad for 2 1/2 weeks of using it. :D

Wow, that's like 10 to 12 miles a day. How do they convert the motion to actual running i wonder? I'm sure to actually run that it would of been much harder.

Anyway, Good Goin!! :claplow:

Congrats! I wish my elliptical would track my mileage correctly. My "total" mileage only shows the whole number from each session for some reason. It's really annoying. (Especially since it can track fractions just fine while I'm on the damn thing.) 1.99 = 1.0

Thanks guys.

It was really hard at first. The first time I went on it I couldn't last 7 minutes. Now I go 45 - 50 minutes on it. :D

I guess each ellipitcal is different because I have an Vision 6100 and doing 45 minutes at resistance 10 and staying at a speed of 5.4mph. I get around 4 miles with burning 650 calories. Either I'm just going too slow or your flying on that machine.

It says I burn off 350 calories going at 15mph for 45 minutes. Weird.

Congrats!

Within the last week I hit 300 miles on my running shoes (bought at end of July) :)

I guess it's due to the resistance. Because if I do low resistance I can fly on that thing but I don't burn that many calories until I up the resistance and then I have to push real hard to do each stride.

The funny thing each time I use it my legs get used to the resistance for the 45 minutes and then when the timer says my workout is done the machine defaults back down to resistance 1 and then my legs start moving like roadrunner!!! :D It's hard to stop :D
