I also love all things with sugar, although I've been able to successfully resist sweets. 1FastGTX Wed, October 19th, 2005, 11:53 AM I just love to eat. Plain and simple. wh0rume Wed, October 19th, 2005, 11:57 AM oh yeah, also - salt-n-vinegar potatoe chips  Combine this with mountain dew, and you find heaven. rsilvestri Wed, October 19th, 2005, 02:28 PM Beer and Mexican Food, Beer and Japanese Food, Beer and bar food (covering a lot of ground on this one), Beer and Thai food, Beer and BBQ, Beer and pizza and wine and Italian Food. And, Ice Cream. Good thing I'm not doing that all week anymore..... Gross - beer & ice cream? yak! :d_eek: 4mykids Wed, October 19th, 2005, 03:15 PM It's all about the ranch dressing, lots and lots and lots of ranch dressing. Ranch on pizza, chicken, onions, fries, potatoes of any kind, veggies, chips. Pretty much ranch on everything. :eat: TarSeal Wed, October 19th, 2005, 03:35 PM Ranch and Mayo used to be my best friends, now I just think about the cheap rancid GMO oils in that stuff and wanna gag. Meet Mustard, my new best friend! :D wh0rume Wed, October 19th, 2005, 03:40 PM Ranch and Mayo used to be my best friends, now I just think about the cheap rancid GMO oils in that stuff and wanna gag. Meet Mustard, my new best friend! :D when i tried this whole "fitness thing" - everyone on this board was saying "GO TO MUSTARD, EAT MUSTARD" I still can't get myself to like it. I think it was because of a bad childhood memory or something. Carrie35 Wed, October 19th, 2005, 03:46 PM I like beer and things with cheese melted on them. how about you? I have about 15 sweet teeth! Brownies, Chocolate, ice cream and bread all call my name and I generally listen. :o I'm not giving up beer...I love it and I only drink it about once a week. :tucool: dafish721 Wed, October 19th, 2005, 09:03 PM when i tried this whole "fitness thing" - everyone on this board was saying "GO TO MUSTARD, EAT MUSTARD" I still can't get myself to like it. I think it was because of a bad childhood memory or something. I used to acutally dip my fries in mustard. Mustard rocks! I don't have a sweet tooth. I have a taco bell tooth. SuPeRhErOgIrL Thu, October 20th, 2005, 01:11 PM Well then...I think I have a beer tooth...and a love for keg stands... They don't call me Truck Driver for nothing... LarryNC Thu, October 20th, 2005, 08:34 PM I have a problem, If I know something is Horrible for you, I like it, alot. I kind of learned that through eating clean, though, I don't act on it very often. never2old Fri, October 21st, 2005, 12:25 PM Ice cream, toppings, cookies, other desserts, candies, chocolate, breads, cheeses, potatoes, pizza. Plus, maybe one margarita per month, average. Butterflyer Fri, October 21st, 2005, 12:47 PM Beer and cookies. They bring me joy. I used to especially like to have the Entenmann's chocolate chip cookies with some Foster's. People thought it was weird... I thought it was a tasty combo. TheRyanator Fri, October 21st, 2005, 01:58 PM Gross - beer & ice cream? yak! :d_eek: Ever had a BEER float? ... Yeah me niether, sounds gross. :p TheRyanator Fri, October 21st, 2005, 02:02 PM For me the weaknesses are: as mentioned, Ranch dressing...I use LIGHT now when I do use it on something so that helps a bit. Other than that it is fried calamari, margaritas (on occassion, like maybe 1 or 2 every couple months), beer, potato skins at my fav restaurant where they also have the fried calamari and the evil-ist food known to man...ICE CREAM! (Edys has this new ice cream out called "slow churned" and it comes in several different varieties. It is a good way to get the ice cream fix, but with only about 2/3 the cals and 1/2 the fat of normal ice cream. It actually tastes just as good as normal ice cream and I like it more as a matter of fact.) sigakoer Fri, October 21st, 2005, 04:14 PM Chinese food. Huge portions of Chinese food. The deep-fried kind. :( themuss Mon, October 24th, 2005, 04:20 PM Chinese food. Huge portions of Chinese food. The deep-fried kind. :( Hell yeah, honey chicken & fried rice, maybe throw in a combination omlette. Then to finish a batch of pancakes with ice cream. Thats about 5kg of fat right there. When I go nuts...i go nuts. Tempest Mon, October 24th, 2005, 09:45 PM Chicken Wings - Buffalo Style & Chinese Buffets... Mainly the wings ... and the pitchers of beer that go with them... I luv them wings ... Now I avoid them like the plague ... Someday I will be able to return to them.. once the goals are met and only in moderation. doordude42 Mon, October 24th, 2005, 09:49 PM I'm happy to say i'm NOT overweight. Wanna know why? It's because I don't eat ANY of the garbage you guys have mentioned. :D jsbrook Tue, October 25th, 2005, 02:22 PM Well, I'm not overweight. I'm pretty lean. But why I don't have the killer 6-pack I had at the end of the summer? Because I have better things to do with my time than monitor every morsel I eat and avoid beer like the plague. doordude42 Tue, October 25th, 2005, 02:25 PM And............. (JS) I avoid beer like the plague! :D jsbrook Tue, October 25th, 2005, 03:41 PM And............. (JS) I avoid beer like the plague! :D Hehe. Nothing wrong with that. It's all about what you're shooting for and what makes you happiest. 1FastGTX Tue, October 25th, 2005, 04:09 PM Hehe. Nothing wrong with that. It's all about what you're shooting for and what makes you happiest. I'm shooting for (eventually) 225-230 pounds at 5%, ripped and shredded. But laying around eating junk food and watching TV makes me happiest. :D wh0rume Tue, October 25th, 2005, 04:20 PM But laying around eating junk food and watching TV makes me happiest. :D soooooo true. my brother does this all the time, yet because he got the "good genetics", potato chips & moutain dew only seem to get him more ripped and muscular  damn him. jsbrook Tue, October 25th, 2005, 05:12 PM I'm shooting for (eventually) 225-230 pounds at 5%, ripped and shredded. But laying around eating junk food and watching TV makes me happiest. :D  Well, you obviously have some sense that you will be happier at 230 and shredded, with all that entails workwise, than laying around watching tv and eating junkfood. Not to get too serious, but this is my personal take on it at present. I want to be strong and healthy and failry lean with some solid size. And I've basically achieved that. I will most likely add some more muscle at some point. But as far as being ultra shredded, I really could care less. There are certain events and/or times of the year I seek and achieve being very cut. But as a general matter, it's not something I want. I'm not happier at that point. Probably less happy because of things I give up that I enjoy. I prefer, for the most part, to eat mostly clean and healthy and train hard but to not be disciplined to the level I need to be to ibe n the mid single digits bf%. But that's just my own personal take. Everyone is different. At the same time, I wonder sometimes at the quest of some people to have great abs like they are the holy grail. I've had great abs and all over definition and I've had solid but not great abs and been not quite so chisled. The former is really not so much better. bfl_redhead Sun, October 30th, 2005, 05:20 PM I have the opposite problem... :) Eating annoys me....and the less I eat, the more weight I put on! My favourite days from a long time ago, I used to have a coffee with a half a small muffin in the morning and a pepsi in the afternoon. Period. Nothing else all day. I put on 50 pounds that month! Now I eat constantly!~(drives me nuts, but the BF drops like a charm!) :) doordude42 Sun, October 30th, 2005, 06:31 PM Now I eat constantly!~(drives me nuts, but the BF drops like a charm!) :) Crazy how that works huh? |
