Hey im new to this site and was looking for some help... Im not outragously large for my size but not thin either im 5f 11in and 220lbs, but my body frame i guess helps my weight balance out a little bit but i still got fat and pudge that needs to go.... I am not a self motivator but if i have a plan i can do it... I can eat healthy if i have an exersize plan but cant do one without the other.... so i was wondering if someone could just throw down a basic exersize program for me for a week... yes i know u would have to see me and stuff and know me thats why i said basic :D... i used to run a mile everyday and every other day bench, curl, pushups, pullups, and ect so i am capable of doing everything.... Anything anyone posts will be appreciated thank you :D

Hi welcome! I'm glad you are beginning to make a change in your life.

You need to read the stickies at the top of this forum page to get started. There is all the info you need in there on how to put together a solid program.

I will say go ahead and start running or at least walking 4 times every week for 25-40 minutes. And begin weight training. Do Squats, bench, and deadlift for sure- those are the most important lifts in the weightroom. You could consider a program to get you started that includes 3 days of lifting and 4 days of running. Do 2 or 3 sets with very light weight of each of those lifts on M/W/F and run all the other days. Do situps after each run/walk. Your whole body will respond very nicely to a simple program like this.

Just do it- that's the main thing! :gl:

Hi and welcome to the boards. I myself am alot like you im not exremely fat but not slim by any strech of the imagination mostly in my waist. I have found the informatoin on this board to be very good and have put together a plan that i think works for me. My point being you have to take all the information that is on here and tailor make something that works for you, what i mean by that is something that you can stick to. The fist thing i would stress to you is dont try and do everything you read on here all at once or your setting yourself up for failure. Try to alter your eating habits then add some cardio then some wieghts the only one that can tell you at what rate to do this is you i would not add anouther step onto you routine till you feel you are comfortable with what your doing.
