Is this just a question that's been on your mind or is it something you were actually thinking about doing? Is a crash diet what you are thinking of? Protein shakes on their own with water are simply that, protein. It's not a wonder nutrient or anything. Just a macro-nutrient that should be PART of some sort of diet/nutrition. For a couple of weeks, nothing would really happen apart from feeling awful and smelling terribly (ketosis and high protein intake). MRPs (Meal Replacement Powders) are a good alternative to real meals but they should only be used when you really haven't got the time at work i.e. working as a waiter. You could live on MRPs for two weeks but in a normal nutrition program, out of the 6 meals a day, I'd say maximum 4 could be MRPs. CKS7 Mon, October 3rd, 2005, 08:07 AM you'd die of constipation |
