You'd probably go crazy. And you probably wouldn't look as good as you'd like.

Are you really serious?

I'd say you'd be real hungry.

You wouldn't have the strength to lift weights.

You would be extremely malnourished. Not even atkins suggests you eat ONLY protein. You would eventually die on a diet completely lacking in carbohydrates.

Well, it'd take a damn long time. But it's still a horrible idea. Any carb-restricted diet should include fat and still have some carbs.

Liver disease, very possibly. I don't know how long it would take for a person to live on protein for that to occur though.

Don't do it. No offense, but it's a really bad idea!

there'd be stomach distress for sure. Even one of those does it for me.

Is this just a question that's been on your mind or is it something you were actually thinking about doing? Is a crash diet what you are thinking of? Protein shakes on their own with water are simply that, protein. It's not a wonder nutrient or anything. Just a macro-nutrient that should be PART of some sort of diet/nutrition. For a couple of weeks, nothing would really happen apart from feeling awful and smelling terribly (ketosis and high protein intake). MRPs (Meal Replacement Powders) are a good alternative to real meals but they should only be used when you really haven't got the time at work i.e. working as a waiter. You could live on MRPs for two weeks but in a normal nutrition program, out of the 6 meals a day, I'd say maximum 4 could be MRPs.
