Hello guys and gals. This coming Thursday I get my Elliptical Treadmill in. I bought it off ebay for 200. Is this a good buy? What do you guys think about Elliptical Treadmills. Any advice for beginners?

An elliptical and a treadmill are two different things. This elliptical is not as high quality as the top of the line ones, but is probably a reasonable buy for what you paid. When using an elliptical, it's a good idea to pedal backwards for part of the workout to avoid pinching the nerves and having your foot go numb.

It says it is Confidence. I've never heard of it so I figured that's why it is cheap. Can we post ebay links on here? I can just give you the link if we are allowed.

If you get it in the original carton or if it has a manual, there should be some sites and phone numbers for parts support etc. somewhere on the box or in the literature. Looks like an air-resistance model. i have not heard of that brand. I have an eliptical. I use it 2 ways...if I basically want a quad workout I keep my heels on the platform at all times when cycling. If I want to workout calves as well I let my heel come up and shift some weight onto the balls of my feet. Your height and weight will make a difference as to how suitable this particular model is for you. Have fun! :d_smile:

It is brand new in box so It should have a manuel.
