I've just got a general question about my regime...
I've been working out and exercising, I've also worked out the amount of calories I need to consume on a daily basis to lose the amount of weight I want to lose by a certain time.
I've also worked out the total number of grams of fat/protein/carbs to consume on a daily basis to ensure I get the right nutrients or whatever.
Its around the standard percentage 40/40/20 (more like 43 carb/37 protein/ 20 fat or something like that).
What I'm finding is that every day i consume more fat than I should (some days its nearly double!!) and not nearly enough protein as I should (less than half if not more).
Does anyone know whether eating more fat but still staying within the amount of calories is still ok with regards to a weight loss regime? Or is it really bad on a long term basis.
So lets say my daily limit is 1800 calories per day to lose 1 pound per week, on a daily basis I eat about that, but I generally eat more fat per day than I should be (and less protein and whatever carbs).
My exercise routine consists of Ashtanga Yoga Mon/Tue/Wed/Thurs, gym 3 X per week (one week I do weights, cardio, weights, the next week I do cardio, weights, cardio) and badminton 1 X per week.
Thanks for any input!
