Basicly here is my diet and cardio workout. I just wanted to know if this will help me lose weight? I am currently 193.6 pounds! I jog 4/5 times a week about 4 miles and play football for one hour on tuesday night!(I started this about 3 weeks go). I want to lose about 14 pounds! I dont see much of a change, but I feel fitter. I start off the day at 8.00am have 1 slice of toast, Then at 10.45am I would have a apple, at 1pm I would have a roll with ham,cheese,coslaw, and lettus. For Dinner at about 6.30pm I would have(ham,cabbage,potatos, ect) or (pasta). I would drink milk,water or diet coke. Is there any way i could change this diet slightly? Just to see quicker results. :tu:

OMG. Dude, I suggest you check the sticky's. Not to be mean but that could possibly be the unhealthiest diet i've seen posted at JSF yet. I wouldn't know where to begin on a critque.

how many calories are you consuming?? is ham your only source of protein? check out the stickies at the top of the forum and that is a good place to start revamping your grocery list, caloric intake, and macronutrients...in addition, you MUST start lifting weights...it is a MUST :) Good Luck

Whoa....change of diet....yeah eat for 193 lb person. Calories are WAAAAAAY too low for your size and all that activity.

Sounds also like your big meal is in the evening.....flip that around, make your breakfast big and start tapering from there.

Still the "diet" doesn't sound too great.
Change the ham to chicken or fish or turkey....
change the potatoes to sweet potatos or 1 cup of brown rice
10:45....an apple and say some almonds
From 1 - 6 is a long time between that tiny meal and dinner. You need a snack in between....beef jerky, handful of almonds, or something anything substantial will do.

I think the answer lies within the stickied posts at the top of the newb forum.
Nothing more can be said here except that his current way of eating is horid and needs to be changed.
