I was wondering if any of you have oppinions about those Ab slider types of ab machines? Is it any good? I don't have much room in my apt besides my cycle, but today I saw this Ab slider type at the supermarket and got it just to test it out. I just tried it out and it really feels like it's doing some good.

crunches, leg lifts, oblique crunches and reverse crunches are all you need to do for good ab work-outs.
If that machine helps keep you motivated, then thats good.
but in the end, I think those machines are not much use.

I agree. The closest thing to one of those gimmicky ab machines that I would personally buy would be an ab wheel. It does the same thing as that machine. You can even use a barbell.....or a skateboard! They will do the same thing. But if that machine will keep you motivated then buy it!

If done properly those could be effective....BUT they usually screw up your back or abs - the slightest mistake and your in pain....very easy to strain yourself. Your better off doing other ab work such as crunch's etc.
