im thinking about adding some creatine into my regiment. was wondering if there is a hands down best creatine out there. im also looking to make the loading phase a bit smaller than a normal one and maintenance to be a little less than what is 'standard' just because i dont want to reap some sort of negative effect like gaining weight or something long those lines. if someone has some solid information or a link i would deeply appreciate it, also some personal problems or successes would be appreciated as well, thanks

Please do a search. There are so many threads in the database on creatine it's practically a crime to start another one.

OK i did a search and found some information. im going to use creatine, but i dont want to use alot. Was wondering when would be the best time to take the creatine, 50% of the daily amount before workout, and 50% afterwards, or all of it afterwards, or all of it before? maybe someone could share what they do

This too has been discussed to great lengths.

Depends on the type of creatine. Monohydrate users sometimes take their creatine at different times than CEE users.

Depends on whether or not you're loading. Some say it is necessary, some say it is not. If you are, you're likely taking in a lot during the day, and I would not think that you should take it all in one shot or even two (50% here / 50% there). Spreading it out would probably be best IMHO.

How many grams are you taking each day?

there should be a way to force some1 to make a search before posting a thread:)

anywayz, most ppl respond to creatine. there are many 'super' creatines out there, but just stick with one from a RELIABLE source (i.e, look at the sponsors)

Creatine is alright to experiment with. As far as long-term goes, I think it's a complete waste of money. However, I do think it serves a purpose in the beginning stages of body-building, as it really does help your strength quick significantly during the first few months. Realistically though, the strength and size go away once you stop taking the creatine. At least that's been my experience with it so far. And also a friend of mine had the same experience. But if you're curious(like I was, and many were probably), give it a shot. It's a nice temporary ego booster. I just find it somewhat depressing when I'm trying to bulk, and then I go off creatine, and I lose 3-5lbs, and I feel smaller in the mirror.

You probably dropped mostly water weight when you came off of creatine. Don't be too depressed. :)
