I saw a 4 page add in the back of a mens fitness magazine for a product called Gakic that supposedly adds 10% strength to you immediately.
It says that you take the product up to 45 mins before your workout, and you immediately notice a strength increase...
Has anyone yet tried this product?
I saw you can get a free sample on their website at www.gakic.com if anyone else is interested... I'm waiting on mine to see how much it doesn't work.

Hey...you never know...it might give you the mental edge that you need to perform better in the gym...like my coaches used to say (well...more like yell), "It's 90% mental and 10% physical!"
I had read an article in a fitness magazine a few months back...it was about the use of Endothil-Cr as a body building supplement...This supplement was used for muscle atrophy patients and has been found to improve muscle repair...
Here's a discussion about using Endothil-Cr (http://www.tritonhealth.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=91)
And a good review (http://www.fitflex.com/novex-biotech-endothil-cr-review.html)
My boyfriend has used Endothil and noticed a significant boost in his energy and ability during his workouts...but like I mentioned...maybe the reason he and these other people are having better workouts is because they believe that they are being aided by this miracle pill.
My suggestion...if you are going to give it a shot...don't jump into it believing that it won't work for you...think positively about it and you might actually surprise yourself with what you can do versus what a drug/supplement can do for you.

I have been on Gakic for about 2 weeks now and I must say that I have noticed a difference in strength. It tastes terrible, like Cell-Tech gone horribly wrong, but the stuff works. I will feel jacked up during my workout, but then feel back to normal once I'm finished. So it's not like I am walking around with roid rage all the time. Heck it took 8 years to make the stuff, so I'm sure it's not just another supplement fad. And you can't take it with a negative attitude that it won't work. Go into the gym knowing that this is going to be the best workout you have ever done. Pump yourself up mentally, and you will pump yourself up physically! Best of luck to ya man :tu:

Well, I have been trying to increase my bench press and have had no luck getting past my one rep max of 275# for months now. I was not able to lift it for a second rep (couldn't even budge it off my chest), not even when I waited up to two minutes between lifts. My last bench press sets are shown below.
1 x 275#, 4 x 245, 5 x 225, 4 x 225
I ordered the sample of gakic since I figured it couldn't hurt to try. I just received my free sample in the mail today- eight horse pills in a small pack. I waited 40 minutes after taking the pills and hit my all-time best bench set
2 x 275, 2 x 275, 2 x 275, 1 x 275
Not sure if it is placebo effect or not but I doubt it because I always lift to absolute failure on every set. If you are hitting a plateau in your training, I think this is worth a try.
I know there is a lot of hatred for GNC, but one big advantage is that you can try out a bottle and bring it back for a full refund if it doesn't work for you.
