As my first nOOb post want to say hi to everyone. I have visited and lurked for a while now and I am very impressed with the knowledge and info posted on these forums, it's very active too. :tu:

Is there a reference guide on line, or a book, where I can look up random nutritional information on specific foods?

I am getting back into a work out routine and looking to get serious this time, more importantly stay consistant.

Notating everything I eat will be my biggest challange, and in order to do so I guess I need to know the nutrional information of what I am eating. Sure, I can read lables and know what was in my bowl of life ceral this AM.

It's the turkey sandwich on white bread with lettuce and mustard, and swiss. The nectarine I ate, and the 1/4 cup of pistacios I snacked on that is difficult to determine. How about the chicken breast I am going to cook later on? How do you do it?

I searched, couldn't find anything. Thanks in advance, and great site.

That website is exactly what you are looking for. Just to let you know, from my experience the sandwhich you described contains around 350 calories.
