This is my what happend, I weighed 134lbs 5'11 I was 15 years old, I went on a dirty/clean bulk and now im up to 153 lbs ive been bulking for about 3 or 4 months I ate 2 cans tuna everyday and lots steaks and ground beef. Gained a considerable amount of fat and lots of muscle too( Never did a cut before bulking so I had a considerable amount of body fat) lately I notice the fat in my chest is showing up through my shirt. So im wondering is it time to cut now?

I don't think a teenager who's 153 at 5'11 who's been over-eating really has any reason to cut. I'd expect you to easily be able to add more muscle and lose some fat at the same time without a concerted diet. Just scaling back a little should suffice fine.

I really really wan't to agree with you because i do think you are right, but i just don't have the same experience. I've always started my bulks with a somewhat good portion of fat still on my body. I've thought the same way as you through out the whole time i've trained... bulk, gain muscle, and the fat will go away. It just doesnt happen. I gained 10 lbs on my last bulk, but couldn't stand the fact that my fat was more noticeable. No fat left my body just more was added. Mind you this was on a almost spotless clean diet. At 17 i've always thought that i didnt need to have a strict diet, but i've always done it anyways. I do agree with you though, most people at young ages, should be able to eat moderatly healthy, bulk, and lose fat at the same time. I'm just an exception. Sorry to bring my own story into this, but i thought it might help.

No problem. I wouldn't recommend anybody (even teenagers) with appreciable amount of fat on their body to bulk in the traditional sense even if they have little muscle. What I think is best is that people in this situation eat healthy and around maintenance calories and train hard. The exact amount of calories will vary from person to person, but I think most relatively skinny (in terms of muscle size), relatively inexperienced lifters could find a level that allows them to strip fat and add some muscle albeit not large amounts as on a traditional bulk.
