Hey I am currently just starting lifting and I really have no direction what so ever, just a poster of all the dumbell excercises (Well not all but most). I was wondering what would be a good 3 or 4 day dumbell (dumbells only- all I have access to) training schedule with some sample exercises. I am trying to bulk right now... Please give me some pointers or point me in the direction of a good, well balanced routine. Thanks :db:

try using this site its been a great help to me:
http://www.exrx.net/Lists/Directory.html
im not sure about a routine, when i chose mine i took 2 of each i dont know if thats the right thing to do or not because i dont know as much as others here.
i know on that site though on the main page, there is templates that i have used which sets out a routine and then you take your own exercises from the link the template gives you, so you could pick from the dumbell exercises:
http://www.exrx.net/Lists/WorkoutMenu.html
as i said i dont know as much as other people so you might want to wait for someone who knows a bit more to say something, but i use the last template on that page.
so now i got: tues : chest + triceps
weds: back + biceps
thurs: thighs
friday: shouldes + calves + abs
sat : off
sun : off (or cardio depending on how i feel)
mon : off
4day split seems to be a bit better for me ive only started this week, and it fits with my college timetable, as monday is my only full day and every other is half day, and thursday off.
i think it might be just down to get a routine thats best for you?
if im wrong on any of that feel free to correct me someone but
hope i helped
