Hey guys,
I bought some body fat calipers about a week or so ago because I don't trust scales anymore, I'm having trouble measuring myself now though. Most times it's anywhere from 14% to 20%, but it's hard getting an accurate reading, I can't tell which direction I'm going with it due to my inability to work it correctly.
I have instructions, and I believe for all intents and purposes I'm correctly doing it the way they describe it to me (grab a 3 inch vertical flap a few inches next to my naval on my right side, push down on the calipers with my thumb over the button), but it still seems like I'm not doing it reliably.
So my question is if anyone has advice for body fat caliper use, where to measure, how to measure, tips or tricks to getting a reliable and accurate reading.
Thanks,
Dave.
