Is it better to have more calories on lifting days than on non-lifting days for weight loss and building muscle?

I’ve been at a plateau with my last 10-15 lbs so I’m looking to make some changes to lose the last few pounds and add muscle at the same time. I’m thinking of switching to eating 2300 calories on lifting days and 1800 on non-lifting and cardio days. I was at 1800 calories each day for a while and switched to 2100 calories a day and saw no change.

My diet for lifting and non lifting is the same, except I don't have a PWO shake on off days, making it roughly 300 less per day.

Usually my caloric intake is higher on NON workout days, being that you grow/recover when you are NOT in the gym. So, the day after a hard workout is when I would need the most nutrients floating around my body available for repair.
