Hi,

I am just starting a weight routine and had a few questions. First, About how many different exercises do you average per day/section of muscles? Right now my routine consists of this:

Mon: cardio, arms/chest
Tue: cardio, legs
Wed: Cardio, Back/sholders
Thurs: Cardio, Stomach
Fri: none

Due to school and work these are the days I can get in the gym. I do about 4 different exercise each day. I am somewhat limited to what I can do, as I have an arm injury that prevents me from using some free weights. On arm days I can use free weights for curls. Perhaps theres a few things I can do that I haven't tried yet. I was just curious as to if I should add more exercises to the routine.
Thanks!

I wouldn't workout anymore than 2days in a row and most people do the same. I really don't breakdown my workout by excercises but rather sets. I usually to 4 to 6 sets on small muscle groups, that could be 2 excercises of 3 sets or 3 excercises for 2sets and 9 to 12sets on big muscle groups (legs, back, delts).

You should also do cardio after weight training. Train hard and heavy without hurting yourself of course.

What injury do you have?

So perhaps I should break my days up some?

I injured my arms about 10 years ago in a hockey accident. It's no longer "Injured" really, but I have limited mobility with my hand.
