Today is Sept.1st, 2005. I always dreaded hearing that song in the title because it meant summer was quickly coming to a close. Now is the time to re-evaluate your plans for the coming months of fall, winter and spring.
Remember how you felt right before summer began? You wanted to wear a muscle shirt, a bikini, tight shorts, halter tops, or any other fitted summer clothes? You wanted to have more energy, less fatigue and just feel good about yourself YOU WILL FEEL THE SAME WAY BEFORE SUMMER STARTS NEXT YEAR!
So, if like myself,(!!!) you have slipped a little, ate a bit too much, skipped a work-out, didn't reach a goal:

Get yourself back to the gym, back to the grocery store, and back to your routine. Now is the time to plan for next summer, and every summer after that for the rest of your life.

The last three weeks I have been way off. I can't get to the gym during the summer because the kids are home but I can work-out at home. ( T- minus 8 days untill I can back there) I have done very little work-out wise in the last three weeks but I am happy that I maintained my weight through the summer. I have 13 more pounds to go to get to my goal. Though I do look at the scale, I also go by what fits, and how I look in the mirror. I never did get into a bikini this year, though some friends said I could have. I never wore one in my life so one more year will not hurt.

Set up mini goals. From now untill Halloween, I will do this( fill in the blank). Once Halloween comes, set another untill New Years. Keep going..... Read the sticky's, then read them again. I find myself re-reading at least once each week.

So here is BOOT for my myself and anyone else who needs one. THINK SUMMER 2006!

Yeah for me i am soo off track in the summer. I just started back to the gym monday after not going for 3 weeks and eating fast food and everything. I gained around 5 lbs of fat but now that school is starting im back into it it wont be hard to loose that 5 lbs it feels good to be back.

Ditto. It's always easier for me to eat right during the school year - I'm so busy all the time and I have minimal time to cook anyway, so I just make my meals really easy and fast to make.

Sometimes I ask my mom to make some extra veggies for me. She makes some salmon and such once in awhile and makes a few extra pieces for me so I can have them for dinner or take them to school.

Not to mention, I'm actually around people more often during the school year, and most people who go to my school are very trim or well built with muscles. It encourages me to lose the fat! :bb:
