Do you guys think that we can really change our metabolisms, for the good or the better. I have always had a fast metabolism, hubby very slow. What I am saying, is do you think some people are just gonna really have to work harder there whole life to get results, or do you think you could change it permantly, to where you could slow down after a while. For instance, my husband, could someday his metabolism get better and stay that way, without getting burn out from excessive exercise. That is what he would have to do right now, just wonder if it would get better over time, or always a struggle

It can be affected yes, but I know I will always struggle against a slow metabolism. That's not to say it cannot be overcome. :tu:

Very much, by the right excercises and eating 5-6 small meals - the metabolism can be increased. I can feel 'more' energy since I've been on my plan. In fact increasing your metabolism is the only 'stay-healthy-long-term' option!

Of course your metabolism would turn back to being slow if you munch potato chips the rest of your life - so you need to have a 'Body-For-Life' attitude :tu: Don't think about "what will happen if he does not work out the rest of my life"...think for the present.
