I started with this (http://p2.hostingprod.com/@thaikitchen.com/heatservesoups.html#)
(the first entry) as my base...
To it I added, 1/4lb sliced sirloin pork, 1 HUGE crimini mushroom, 1/2 a jalapeno, a VERY small amount of cut garlic, and a bit of onion as well.
Then I added my favorite sauce, Taste of Thai: Garlic CHili Pepper Sauce (I cant stress this enough people, its the best ever)...then my secret...PEANUT BUTTER! Now I know what you're thinking, "Andrew, you added peanut butter to a soup?!?!" WHy yes, yes I did. It dissolves and it gives a really great flavour..in fact I recommend this for nearly all soups.
Salt, pepper, low heat covered for 30 min. until pork is tender, and you're done...take that Rachel Ray! :)
Soon I'm going to look up a recipe for the broth itself, but I was lazy tonight.
