Anybody figured out how he lifted the front end of that cab off the ground in his show on T.V. the other night?? He just doesn't look that strong to me although he is in buff trim. Also can't figure out how he apparently really levitates people and gets them to hang in mid-air. As a magician the guy is awesome.

I've seen his show, and I googled a lot of it to find out how he did some stuff (didn't find too much, but found enough). Partially he knows how to control his body and control his muscles REALLY! well..and partially they're just illusions. Some of that stuff he does is 100% impossible for any human in the history of mankind currently or to come, and I'm convinced that its entirely rigged (for example, did you see them roll the humvee over him when he was on the bed of nails? or di dyou see him "float" on just one leg laying all the way back?). In my opinion that cab was either rigged or he knew how to make himself look smaller in comparison. I'd love to watch him do it in real life because, lke you, I'm sooooooo skeptical.

I wasn't trying to be skeptical although like you I find it beyond the parameters of human ability for him to do some of the stuff he does. It actually does look believable on screen but is a show and he is a magician. I would like to suspend all doubt and believe 100 percent but a liitle voice in the back of my head is coughing loudly. I really enjoy his shows though, especially the card tricks. It's definitely top-notch entertainment.

Yeah I saw his show. And you're right it is just entertainment. I actually got into magic and tricks a little bit a few years back and got pretty good at it. Most of the stuff he does is camera tricks. The inperson tricks he does, the people have to be standing in a certain location in order for the illusion to work. For instance when he levitates, he has a pair of pants in which one of his legs can slip out of the pants in the front and he steps up onto a ledge, etc,. His shoes are designed to clamp together with magnets when he puts them together. So when he has his back to you and he levitates, all he is doing is an illusion for you. Anyone next to him can see what happens. Cool though!
