Whey protein is fast absorbing, casein is slow. What about the protein in peanuts?
When I was cutting, I craved peanuts, peanut butter, anything with peanuts. It was like my sweet indulgence. Now that I'm bulking, I eat natural peanut butter every day on a PB and banana sandwich (yum :drool: ). Sometimes I get the bulk of my fat in the afternoon with a 3 ounce serving of no salt dry roasted peanuts.
Obviously, I'm not going to base a big portion of my diet on peanuts or other nuts for that matter, but how does peanut protein rank in terms of other kinds of protein?
