I don't have FF whipped cream on hand, so I'm wondering if maybe skim milk or cottage cheese would be a good replacement for a recipe that calls for it?

Here's the recipe (I believe it was posted in these forums in the past) if you feel you need to see the recipe first:

CHOCOLATE COOKIES

6 scoops chocolate whey
6 packets Splenda
2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt

Mix separately:
2 eggs (or 4 egg whites)
1/4 c fat free whipping cream
1 tsp vanilla

Add to dry mixture and mix thoroughly. Drop by tsp on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for 6-8 minutes.

I don't really know what fat free whipped cream is. They don't sell it in our area, and, technically, there's no such thing (cream by definition contains fat).

Skim milk would not work in this recipe. Yogurt should do it, or tofu, or cottage cheese, if you whirl it through the blender first. If I were making it, I'd chill a can of evaporated skim milk, and whip it in with the eggs.

I normally don't have evaporated skim milk on hand, but plain fat free yogurt should do if I decide against the blended cottage cheese. Thanks! :d_smile:

Actually canned whip cream has pretty much ZERO calories.
