Im starting this journal mainly for remotivation. I want to look at where I have been, what I have accomplished so far, where I want to go next, and how I plan to get there.
July 2004 was a huge turning point in my life. I weighed 210 and was nowhere close to being in shape. All through jr high and high school I had 1 hobby: playing video games. I easily spent more than 50% of that 6 years in front of a computer. But then something changed. I got my first real job shortly after high school was over and started being around people everyday because of my job. I started to realize what I had done to myself over the past few years, both physically and mentally, and I wanted to go in a new direction.
Something really clicked because I really did a 180 as far as exercising and eating habits. I completely stopped drinking soda and juice, started eating healthy, and eating less, and more importantly, started running. I remember the first time I jumped on the treadmill. I lasted all of about 8 minutes at a blazing 3.5 mph! I then made it my goal to last longer the next time, and longer the time after that.
Fast forward to January 2005. I was down to 160 and could last an hour on the treadmill at 5 mph. 50 pounds gone!!!!! wooo for me! haha. I didnt really have anymore goals set for myself after this point except to just maintain where I was at. Sometime in Febuary though I looked at myself in the mirror and thought to myself "hmmm... Im kind of scrawny..."
I decided to do a quick 1.5 month bulk to see how it worked out for me. I got up to about 175 in that time period, and most of it was fat, because I cut back down to 160 and could only tell a minor difference in my muscle tone compared to pre bulk.
So for the past 5 months, I have been trying to do a slow and steady bulk instead, but without a solid dedication to it it has been very slow moving. Right now I am 170. I have been working out irregularly, and only focusing on my upper body instead of the whole thing.
So now I have decided its time to light another fire under my ass and get going.
My Goal for December 31st 2005: To weigh a solid 190.
How I plan to achieve it:
1. Eat big everyday, Eat Healthy everyday, and Monitor what I eat everyday.
2. Follow a steady 5 day a week workout plan, working my entire body evenly, and pushing it HARD.
3. Stay Dedicated to what I want to do and where I want to be. Visualize what I want to look like everyday.
