I got one word for this movie:

BORING.

i think i'll go see it this week sometime, Cillian Murphy was FRIGGIN AWSOME as ScareCrow in Batman Begins and Rachel McAdams is an extreme hottie and i loved her in Wedding Crashers. I'm also a fan of Wes Craven films as well.

While i never put much stock in reviews by movie critics everyone is giving this movie great reviews. RottenTomatoes.com is giving it an 83% so we'll see.

I think Rachel is awesome, but while I'm all for rooting for my fellow Canadians, I think I'm going to catch this one on video. I hear some people say it's awesome, and some say that it's really not that scary. Besides, I think I'm only going to shell out for one movie in this case, and it's going to be The 40 Year Old Virgin! :D

It was just boring. Not scary at all, extremely predictable, and just a stupid plot in general. I kept thinking to myself "okay, easy way out, just do this," or "no problem, just say this." (Trying not to give away any spoilers here so it is difficult to describe what I mean.)

Yeah, that sounds like a typical Wes Craven film. The only film of his I like is Scream where he basically takes the piss out of himself.

My girlfriend and I both liked it, however it certainly was not a "great" movie. Definitely a worthy rental IMO, but not worth shelling out the cash to see it on the big screen. It's also rather short, like 80-85 mins.

And indeed, it was extremely predictable. I think the plot could have used quite a bit more depth.

i just got back from seeing red eye, i loved it. the second half of the movie i thought was really suspenseful.

Geez yer way ahead of me. I only just got around to watching "The Bourne Supremacy" last night and it was two thumbs and two toes up good.
